Materials: Small Amounts of Sport Yarn in each A, B, C, D, E, F, G
Stuffing
Crochet Hook Size E or 3.5 mm

Finished Size Approximately 5" Diameter

Ball Section:
Using A, ch 2.

Base Row: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Turn.

Row 1: (right side): Ch 1, 2 sc in next st. Turn.

Row 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in next st, 1 sc in last st. Turn.

Rows 3 & 4: Ch 1, 1 sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, sc in each st to end.
Turn.

Row 5: Ch 1, (1 sc in next st) twice, 2 sc in next st, 1 sc in each st to
end. Turn.

Row 6 and every other row: Ch 1, 1 sc in each st to end. Turn.

Row 7: Same as 5th row.

Row 9 & 11: Ch 1, (1 sc in next st) 3 times, 2 sc in next st, 1 sc in each st
to end. Turn.

Rows 13 & 15: Ch 1, (1 sc in next st) 4 times, 2 sc in next st, 1 sc in each
st to end. Turn.

Row 17: Ch 1, (1 sc in next st) 5 times, 2 sc in next st, 1 sc in each st to
end. Turn.

Row 19: Same as 18th row.

Rows 21 & 23: Ch 1, (1 sc in next st) 5 times, (insert hook in next st, yo
an draw a loop through) twice, yo and draw through 3 loops on hook—
called 2 sc together, 1 sc in each st to end. Turn.

Rows 25 & 27: Ch 1, (1 sc in next st) 4 times, work 2 sc tog, 1 sc in each
st to end. Turn.

Rows 29 & 31: Ch 1, (1 sc in next st) 3 times, work 2 sc tog, 1 sc in each
st to end. Turn.

Rows 33 & 34: Ch 1, (1 sc in next st) twice, work 2 sc tog, 1 sc in each st
to end. Turn.

Rows 35 & 36: Ch 1, 1 sc in next st, work 2 sc tog, 1 sc in each st to
end. Turn.

Row 37: Ch 1, work 2 sc tog, 1 sc in last st. Turn.

Row 38: Ch 1, work 2 sc tog. Turn.

Rows 39 & 40: Ch 1, 1 sc in next st. Turn.

Fasten off. Make five more sections, each a different colour.

To Finish: Place wrong side of two sections together and using G, sl st
in point through both sections. Work in sc around edge to other point.
Join other sections in the same way.
Leave half of last seam open. Fill ball with stuff. Complete seam.
Fasten off. Darn in loose ends.
