Finished Size Approximately 12 ½” x 38 ½”
Gauge: 3 spaces = ½”; 3 rows of spaces ½”
Notes:
1) Graph reading knowledge is necessary.
2) The foundation ch is at center of runner. Work from center outward for first half, then
return to opposite side of foundation ch, beg with row 2 and work outward for second half
of runner.
First Half of Runner:
Row 1: Beg at center of runner, ch 204, dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in next 5 chs (2
blocks), 15 spaces, 1 block, 2 spaces, 1 block, 3 spaces, 1 block, 2 spaces, 1 block, 11
spaces, 1 block, 2 spaces, 1 block, 3 spaces, 1 block, 2 spaces, 1 block 15 spaces, 2
blocks, turn. (67 blocks and spaces across)
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc of block), dc in next 2 sts (1 block), 1 space, 2 blocks, 5
spaces, 3 blocks, 5 spaces, 1 block, 2 spaces, 1 block 3 spaces, 1 block, 2 spaces, 1
block, 11 spaces, 1 block, 2 spaces, 1 block, 3 spaces, 1 block, 2 spaces, 1 block, 5
spaces, 3 blocks, 5 spaces, 2 blocks, 1 space and 1 block, turn.
Rows 3-112: Following graph, ch 3 to beg each row.
When a row has a decreased block, ch 1, at beg of the row and sl st across to the space
or block as indicated in graph. Ch 3 (counts as first dc) to beg a block, ch 5 (counts as
first dc, ch 2) to beg a space.
At the end of row 112, fasten off.
Second Half of Runner:
Row 2: With wrong side of opposite side of foundation ch facing, attach cotton, rep row 2
of first half of runner.
Rows 3-112: Rep rows 3 to 112 of first half of runner.
At the end of row 112 fasten off.
Weave in loose ends. Block lightly.
