Materials: Baby Yarn 2 oz Skeins - 2 skeins
Crochet Hook Size E or 3.50
Large Eyed Tapestry Needle
2 Yds  White Ribbon ¼” Wide

Size chest measurement 24 inches

Stitches:
Sc Dec: Draw up lp in each of next 2 sts, yo, draw through all 3 lps on hook.
3 Sc Dec: Draw up lp in each of next 3 sts, yo, draw through all lps on hook.

Sweater:
Small square: (make 24):
Ch 6, join with sl st to form ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 6 (stands for first dc and ch 3), (3 dc, ch 3 in ring) 3 times, 2 dc in ring; join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg
ch-6.
Rnd 2: Sl st in next ch-3 sp, ch 3 (stands for dc), (dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in same beg sp as ch-3, * dc in next 3 dc, (2 dc,
ch 3, 2 dc) in next ch-3 sp; rep from * twice, dc in next 3 sts; join with sl st in top of beg ch-3. Fasten off.
Large Square: (make 9):
Ch 6, join with sl st to form ring.
Rnds 1-2: Rep as for small square.
Rnd 3: Sl st in next dc, sl st in next ch-3 sp, ch 3 (stands for dc), dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in same sp as beg sp as ch 3, * dc
in each dc across to next ch-3 sp, (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in ch-3 sp; rep from * twice, dc in each rem st across
(including sl sts); join with sl st to top of beg ch-3.
Rnd 4: Sl st in next dc, sl st in next ch-3 sp, rep rnd 3.
Rnd 5: Ch 1, sc in same st as join, sc in next dc, * (2 sc, ch 1, 2 sc) in ch-3 sp, sc in each dc across; rep from *
around; join with sl st in beg sc. Fasten off.
Assembly:
Sew or sc squares together according to diagram.
Fold piece in half as indicated. Sew sleeve and side seams.

Yoke:
With right side facing, join yarn to top corner of right front.
Row 1: Ch 1. Working in back lps only for this row, sc in each st across top of right front, right sleeve, back, left
sleeve and left front to top front corner of left front. Turn. 205 sts.
Row 2: (Note: Place marker using contrasting yarn in each 3-sc dec. Move marker up as each row is worked.), Ch
1, sc in next 29 sc, 3-sc dec over next 3 sts, sc in next 38 sts, 3-sc dec over next 3 sts, sc in next 59 sts, 3- sc dec
over next 3 sts, sc in next 38 sts, 3-sc dec over next 3 sts, sc in next 29 sts. Turn. 197 sts.
Row 3: Ch 1, * sc in each sc to 2 sts before marker, 3-sc dec over next 3 sts, sc in each st across to next marker,
3-sc dec over next 3 sts; rep from * across, sc in each rem sc across. Turn.
Rows 4-17: Rep row 3. Do not fasten off or turn at end of row 17.
Front and Bottom Border:
Sc in each sc around front and bottom edges of piece working in back lps only of small squares. Do not fasten off.
Neck Border:
Ch 1, * sc in next sc, sc dec over next 3 sts *; rep from * to * 4 times, (sc dec over next 3 sts) 5 times; rep from * to
* 9 times, (sc dec over next 3 sts) 5 times; rep from * to * 5 times, ch 1; join with sl st in beg sc of front border.
Fasten off.
Sleeve Trim:
Join yarn to any st along bottom of sleeve working in back lps only, sc in each st around. Fasten off. Weave 1 yd
of ribbon through sts of neck border; trim end to desired length.

Hat:
Square (make 4):
Rep as for large square of sweater.
Assembly:
Sew or sc squares tog according to diagram. Fold piece as indicated. Sew or sc seams.
Border:
Join yarn to any st along edge of hat. Sc around entire outer edge; join with sl st in beg sc. Fasten off.
Weave 1 yd ribbon through sts along bottom edge of hat. Trim ends to desired length.
