Materials: Knit Cro Sheen; 1 - 150 yd ball Yellow, 1 - 225 Ball White
Crochet Hook Size 9 or 1.00 mm
Tapestry Needle
Finished Size Approximately 2 ½” wide; length is adjustable
Gauge: Each motif = 2 ¼” square
Motif 1: With yellow, ch 6 and join with sl st to form ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 5 for first dc and ch 2, (dc in ring, ch 2) 7times, join with sl st to 3rd ch of
starting ch-5.
Rnd 2: Sl st in next ch-2, ch 4 for first tr, retaining last loop of each st on hook, work
4 tr in same space, yo and through all loops on hook (starting cluster completed),
ch 5, * retaining last loop of each st on hook, work 5 tr in next ch-2, yo and through
all loops on hook (cluster completed), ch 5; repeat from * around, join with sl st in tip
of first cluster--8 clusters. Cut yellow.
Rnd 3: With white and working in front of last rnd, sc around any dc of rnd 1, * ch 3,
sc around next dc of rnd 1; repeat from * around, end last repeat with ch 3, join with
sl st in first sc.
Rnd 4: In each loop work (sc, 2 dc and sc) around (8 raised petals made). Join and
fasten off.
Rnd 5: Join white in any ch-5 loop of rnd 2, ch 1, sc in same loop, * ch 5, in next
loop work dc, ch 5 and dc (corner completed) ** , ch 5, sc in next loop; repeat from *
around, end last repeat at ** , ch 2, dc in first sc--4 corners established.
Rnd 6: Ch 1, sc in same loop, ch 7, sc in next loop, ch 7, * in corner loop work dc,
ch 5 and dc, (ch 7, sc in next loop) 2 times, ch 7; repeat from * 2 times more, end ch
7, join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off.
Motif 2:
Rnds 1 through 5: Make same as motif 1.
Rnd 6: (joining rnd): Ch 1, sc in same loop, ch 7, sc in next loop, ch 7, dc in corner
loop, ch 2, sl st in corresponding corner on motif 1, ch 2, dc in same corner on motif
2, (ch 3, sl st in next loop on motif 1, ch 3, sc in next loop on motif 2) 2 times, ch 3,
sl st in next loop on motif 1, ch 3, dc in corner loop on motif 2, ch 2, sl st in corner
loop on motif 1, ch 2, dc in same corner on motif 2; compete remainder same as
motif 1. Continue making and joining motifs into a strip the same as motif 2 was
joined to motif 1 until strip is desired length. Fasten off.
Finishing:
Weave in ends.
Top Border: Join white in right hand corner lp, (dc in 2nd dc of corner), work ch 7,
sc in 3rd ch from hook for picot, ch 3, dc in same dc, sc in next lp, in next sc work 1
dc, ch 7, sc in 3rd ch for picot, ch 3 and 1 dc (picot Vst made), sc in next lp, work
picot Vst in next sc, sc in next lp, picot Vst in next lp, sk joining, picot Vst in next lp.
Continue across top edge in same manner. At end fasten off. Turn edging so lower
edge faces you.
Lower Border:
Join white in right hand corner lp and work same as for top border.
