Finished Sizes Approximately: Tray 6” Diameter; Teapot 4” Tall; Sugar Bowl 3 ½” Tall; Creamer 2 ½” Tall; Tea Cup and Saucer 2 ½”
Tall
Gauge: Tray: At the end of rnd 3, 2 ½” Diameter; All other items- 3 dc rnds = 1”

Tray:
Starting in center, ch 6. Join with sl st to form a ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 3 for first dc, work 19 dc in ring (20 dc, counting ch-3 as one dc).
Join with sl st in top of ch-3.
Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc at base of ch-3, work (1 dc in next st, 2 dc in next st) around Join as before. (30 dc)
Rnds 3-5: Work as for rnd 2.
Rnd 6: Ch 3, dc in each st around, join.
Rnd 7: Ch 3, dc at base of ch-3, work (1 dc in each of next 2 sts, 2 dc in next st) around. Join.
Rnd 8: (picot rnd): Ch 3, dc in next st, * ch 3, sl st in top of last dc made, 1 dc in each of next 3 sts. Rep from * around, join.
Rnd 9: (loop rnd): Ch 1, sc in same st as joining st, * ch 5, sk picot and next dc, sc in next dc. Rep from * around, join in first sc and
break off.

Teapot:
Main Section:
Starting in center (above base), ch 5. Join with sl st to form a ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 3 for first dc, work 19 dc in ring (20 dc, counting ch-3 as one dc). Join with sl st in top of ch-3.
Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc at base of ch-3; working in back lp of sts on this rnd only, work (1 dc in next st, 2 dc in next st) around (30 dc). Join
as before. Base will be worked on free rem lps.
Rnds 3-7: Ch 3, work 1 dc in each st around. Join as before.
Rnd 8: (dec rnd): Ch 3, dec 1 dc over next 2 dc as follows: * (yo hook, draw up a lp in next dc yo hook and draw through 2 lps) twice,
yo hook and draw through all lps on hook. Rep from * around, end dc in last dc. Join and break off.
Base of Main Section:
Turn base upside down. Make lp on hook and join with sl st in any free lp of rnd 2.
Rnd 1: (picot rnd): Working in free lps of rnd 2, rep rnd 8 of tray.
Rnd 2: (loop rnd): Rep rnd 9 of tray. Break off.
Spout:
Starting at top edge, ch 4.
Rnd 1: Work 4 dc in 4th ch from hook, join with sl st in top of 3rd ch. (5 dc)
Rnds 2-4: Ch 3, dc in each st around. Join with sl st in top of ch-3.
Rnd 5: Ch 3, dc at base of ch-3, work (1 dc n next st, 2 dc in next st) around (8 dc). Join.
Rnd 6: Rep rnd 5 (12 dc). Join and break off.
Cover:
Rnd 1: Starting at top edge, ch 3, then work 9 hdc in 3rd ch from hook (10 hdc). Join with sl st in 2nd ch.
Rnds 2-4: Ch 2, work 1 hdc in each st around. Join as for last rnd.
Rnd 5: Ch 3, work 2 dc at base of ch-3, * 2 dc in next st, 3 dc in next st. Rep from * around, work 4 dc in last st; join to top of ch-3.

Rnds 6-7: Rep rnds 8-9 of tray. Break off.
Handle:
Ch 60. Break off.

Sugar Bowl:
Main Section:
Work as for main section of teapot to end of rnd 5.
Rnd 6: (dec rnd): Rep rnd 8 of teapot and break off.
Base of Main Section:
Work as for teapot.
Handles:
Make 2. Ch 30. Break off.
Cover:
Work as for teapot.

Creamer:
Main Section:
Work as for main section of teapot to end of rnd 4.
Rnd 5: Ch 3, dc in each of next 11 dc; in next st work 2 tr and 2 dtr; in next st work 2 dtr and 2 tr; then work 1 dc in each rem st. Join
to top of ch-3.
Rnd 6: Ch 1, sc in joining st, sc in each st around. Join with sl st in first sc and break off.
Base of Creamer:
Work as for base of teapot.
Handle:
Ch 30. Break off.

Tea Cup and Saucer:
Main Section of Cup:
Starting in center (above base), ch 4. Join with sl st to form a ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 2 for first hdc, work 15 hdc in ring (16 hdc). Join with sl st to top of ch-2.
Rnd 2: Ch 3 for first dc, 1 dc at base of ch-3; working in back lps on this rnd only, work (1 dc in next st, 2 dc in next st) around. Join to
top of ch-3.
Rnds 3-4: Ch 3, dc in each st around. Join.
Rnds 5-6: Rep rnds 8 and 9 of tray. Break off. This is top edge of cup.
Base of Cup:
Rep rnds 8 and 9 of tray, working rnd 8 in rem free lps of rnd 2 of cup.
Saucer:
Starting in center, ch 4. Join with sl st to form a ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 3 for first dc, work 25 dc in ring (26 dc). Join with sl st to top of ch-3.
Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc at base of ch-3, working in back lps only, work (1 dc in next st, 2 dc in next st) around. Join as before.
Rnds 3-4: Rep rnds 8 and 9 of tray. Break off.
Handle:
Ch 30. Break off.

Finishing:
Weave in ends. Before using stiffener, blow up small balloons to fit inside teapot, creamer, sugar bowl and cup. Cover 2” Styrofoam
balls with plastic wrap. Dip all pieces in stiffening solution. Place balloons inside specified pieces, shape as they dry. Pierce balloons
and remove. Shape all top sections and dry over covered Styrofoam balls. Following photo, with tweezers shape all handles, dry flat
on wax paper. While wet, tie lids tightly at end of rnd 2 (see pic). Glue pieces together as shown.
