center of circle, repeat from * 5 times, work 2 rice sts, dc between 1st and 2nd rice st on right hand
side of previous circle, work 3 rice sts, dc between 1st and 2nd rice sts made on 1st circle, work a

work a rice st, join at base of 1st rice st made (8 circles), *ch 7, sc between next 2 rice sts, ch 3, trc

Work a 2nd motif joining it to 1st motif in last row as follows: Ch 1, 4 sc, picot, 4 sc over next loop, sc
in next sc, work a rice st. trc in next trc, ch 1, join to corresponding picot of 1st motif, ch 1, sl st in top
of trc of 2nd motif to complete picot, work a rice st, sc in next sc of 2nd motif, 4 sc over next loop, ch
1, join to next picot of 1st motif, ch 1, sl st in top of last sc to complete picot, 4 sc over same loop of

Joining Motif: Attach cotton in picot of any motif, * work a rice st, then working towards the right hand
side, trc in joining between motifs inserting hook from wrong side, work a rice st, sc in free picot fo
