Materials: Crochet Cotton Size 10; 1 - 50 gm ball
  Steel Crochet Hook Size 7 or 1.50 mm
  Pillow Form 12” x 12”
  ½ Yd Fabric
  Tapestry Needle
  Spray Starch
  Sewing Needle and Thread

Finished Size Approximately 12” x 12”
Gauge: 7 sp or bl = 2”
Note: When working pattern 4 dc = 1 bl, 7 dc = 2 bl.
Add 3 dc for each attached bl.
When following chart, work right side rows from right to left and wrong
side rows from left to right.

Starting at lower edge, ch 144.
Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook and in each ch across (142 dc, counting
ch-3 at beg of row as one dc). Ch 3, turn.
Row 2: Sk first dc (turning ch counts as one dc), dc in each of next 3 dc,
(ch 2, sk 2 dc, dc in next dc) 45 times, dc in each of next 2 dc, dc in top
of ch-3. Ch 3, turn.
Rows 3-4: Sk first dc, dc in each of next 3 dc, work (ch 2, sk sp, dc in
next dc) across to last 3 sts, dc in each of next 2 dc, dc in top of ch-3.
Ch 3, turn.
Row 5: Work first bl as before, work 14 sp, 2 dc in next sp, dc in next dc,
work in sp pattern across, work last bl as before. Ch 3, turn.
Row 6: Work first bl, work 25 sp, (2 dc in next sp, dc in next dc) twice,
work 1 sp, 2 bl, then work in sp pattern across, work last block. Ch 3,
turn.
Rows 7-59: Starting with row 7, follow chart for design. At end of last
row, do not ch 3 or break off.
Border:
Sc evenly around all edges, working 3 sc in each corner. Join and break
off.
Finishing:
Lining: Cut 2 pieces from fabric, each 13” x 13”. Using ½” seam
allowance, hold both pieces together and sew on 3 sides, leave 4th side
open. Turn to right side, insert pillow form, sew 4th side closed. Weave
in ends. Spray starch pillow top, if desired, easing piece to 12” x 12”.
When dry, sew to one side of covered pillow, with needle and thread.
