Materials: Worsted Weight Yarn 3 oz Main Colour A, 1 oz each of
contrasting colours B, C, D,
   E, F and G
Crochet Hook Size F or 4.00 mm
Piece of cotton fabric for lining if you want to line it.

Finished Size Approximately 22 ½" x 31"

Note: When changing colours, work the last yo of the last sc in new
colour. Carry main colour not in use across top of previous row, working
all stitches over it. For ease of working, wind contrasting colours onto
bobbins or into small balls.

Using A, ch 92.
Base Row: (right side): 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc in each ch to end.
Turn. 91 sc.

Rows 1,2 & 3: Ch 1, 1 sc in each sc to end. Turn.

Row 4: Ch 1, 1 sc in each of first 8 sc changing to B with last yo of last
sc, using B and carrying A across top of previous row, work 1 sc in each
of next 3 sc changing to A with last yo of last sc, * using A and carrying B
across top of previous row, work 1 sc in each of next 15 sc changing to
B with last yo of last sc, using B and carrying A across top of previous
row, work 1 sc in each of next 3 sc changing to A with last yo of last sc,
rep from * to last 8 sc, then using A, work 1 sc in each of last 8 sc. Turn.
Continue working from chart in this way reading RS rows from right to
left and WS rows from left to right until 129 rows of chart have been
completed. Work 4 rows using A only. Fasten off.

Border: Using A only, work 5 rounds in sc around edge of blanket,
working 1 sc in each st across each end, approximately 4 sc in every 5
row ends along each side and 3 sc in each corner. Join each round with
a sl st to first sc and beg each round with ch 1.

To Finish: Darn in all loose ends.
Press under ½" all around edge of lining. Pin lining to blanket with ws
tog. Slip stitch to blanket with ws tog. Slip stitch lining in place.
