Materials: For Potholder Crochet Cotton 100 yds Green and cream or colour you prefer
For Hot Pad use Worsted Weight Yarn
Crochet Hook Size 8
Starting at A of diagram (below) with green, ch 21, dc in 4th st from hook, 1 dc in each remaining st of
chain, ch 5, turn.
Row 2: 1 dc in 4th st from hook, 1 dc in next st of ch (an increase of 1 solid mesh at beginning of row),
1 dc in each dc, break thread.
Start at B, ch 21, dc in 4th st from hook, 1 dc in each remaining st of ch, ch 3 (counts as 1 dc in each
row), turn.
Row 2: 1 dc in each dc, 1 trc in same space with last dc, work 2 more trc working each trc into lower
loop of previous st (an increase of 1 solid mesh at end of row), ch 14, join to first dc of 2nd row of A,
break thread.
Attach thread to first dc of 2nd row at B end of leaf, ch 3, 1 dc in each of next 6 dc, ch 2, skip 2 dc, 1 dc
in each of next 13 dc, 1 dc in each of next 6 sts of ch, ch 2, skip 2 sts of ch, 1 dc in each of next 6 sts
of ch, 1 dc in each remaining dc, ch 3, turn.
Row 4: 1 dc in each of the next 6 dc, ch 2, skip 2 dc, 1 dc in each of the next 7 dc, ch 2, skip 2 dc, 1 dc
in each of next 10 dc, ch 2, skip 2 dc, 1 dc in each of next 7 dc, ch 2, skip 2 dc, 1 dc in each of next 7

With cream, work another section in same manner working all meshes solid.
With cream, crochet the 2 sections together with a row of sc. With cream make a chain for hanging.
