Materials: Worsted Weight Yarn 9 ozs White (A), 24 ozs Azalea (B), 15 ozs Raspberry ( C)
    Crochet Hook Size I or 5.50 mm

Finished Size Approximately 47" x 54"

Square: (make 30):
Using colour A, ch 4; join with a sl st to form a ring.

Rnd 1: Ch 3, (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in ring; * (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in ring; rep from * twice more; ch 2, sl st to top of ch-3.

Rnd 2: Sl st into ch-2 space; ch 3, (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in same space; * (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch-2 space; rep from * twice
more. Sl st into top of ch-3.

Rnd 3: Sl st into ch-2 space; ch 3, (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in same space; * 3 dc between 3-dc corner groups; rep from * twice
more; sl st into top of ch-3; Fasten off.

Rnd 4: Attach colour B in any ch-2 corner sp of previous rnd; (ch 3, dc, ch 2, 2 dc) all in same sp; * dc in next 3 dc, * dc
between the 3-dc groups; rep from * to corner sp; (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in ch-2 corner space; continue in this manner around,
ending sl st into top of ch-3.

Rnd 5: Work in same manner as Rnd 4.

Rnd 6: Ch 1, 3 sc in corner sp; * sc in each dc to next ch-2 corner space; 3 sc in ch-2 space; work in this manner around,
ending sl st into ch-1, ch 1.

Rnd 7: Sc in each sc around, working 3 sc in center sc of each corner; sl st into ch-1, ch 1.

Rnd 8: Repeat Row 7. Fasten off.

Rnd 9: Attach colour C to first sc beyond the 3-sc in any corner space; ch 1, sc in same space (short stitch); sc in sc in next
row below (long stitch); * work 12 short and 11 long stitches to next corner. In corner space, work (2 long stitches, ch 2, 2
long stitches) into 2nd sc row below. Repeat from * ending sl st in ch-1 , fasten off. Weave in all yarn ends.         

Roses: (make 30):
Using colour C, ch 4; join with a sl st to form a ring.

Rnd 1: * Ch 4, sc in ring; rep from * 5 more times; (6 loops)

Rnd 2: In each loop work petal of (1 sc, 1 hdc, 2 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc; end with a sl st between 2 loops of previous row; (6 petals
made)

Rnd 3: * Ch 4, sl st in the back of the sc between  next 2 petals; Rep from * 5 more times; 6 lps

Rnd 4: In each loop work petal of (1 sc, 1 hdc, 3 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc); sl st in 1st sc of first petal; sl st in stitch below. Fasten off.
Weave in yarn ends.

Sew one rose into the center of each square; sew through flower and square centers, then sew two opposite petals to
square; let remaining petals hang free.

Finishing:
To join squares into strips: Place squares together with right sides facing. With colour C, sl st squares together loosely,
inserting the hook into the back loops only of each square. Attach 5 squares across making a strip (6 strips altogether)

To join strips: Place strips together with right sides facing; with colour A, sl st squares together loosely, inserting the hook
into the back loops only of each square. At the end of each square, ch 1, then sl st across next square. Repeat across all 5
squares.

Border:
Attach colour C to a ch-2 space in a corner; * ch 4, sl st in base of ch-4 (picot made); 1 sc in next 4 sc; rep from * across to
the joining of the first 2 squares. Work a picot in the ch-2 space of the 9th row of that square. Work 2 sc in seam, work a
picot in the ch-2 space of the 9th row in the next square; 1 sc in next 4 sc; rep from * across entire row to the corner. Work
a picot, ch 2, work a picot in the corner. Work 1 sc in next 4 sc, then a picot, following as before. Complete the 3 sides,
ending with a picot, ch 2 in the beginning corner.
