Victorian Motif
Materials: 1 ball each of Crochet Cotton or Worsted Weight Yarn white, tinted lavender and
yellow or your colour of choice
Crochet Hook Size 7 or 1.5 mm
With lavender and yellow ch 8, join to form a ring, * ch 3, sc in ring, repeat from * 7 times (8 loops).
Row 2: Sl st into loop, ch 3, 2 dc in same space, * ch 1, 3 dc in next loop, repeat form * 6 times, ch 1,
join in 3rd st of ch.
Row 3: * Ch 4, trc in same space, 1 trc in each of the next 2 dc, ch 4, sl st in same space at base of st,
sc in next ch 1, sl st in next dc, repeat from * all around, break thread.
Row 4: Attach white in center at top of petal, * ch 4, trc in next sc between petals, ch 4, sc in top of
next petal, repeat from * all around ending row with ch 4, trc in sc between petals, ch 4, join.
Row 5: Ch 6, dc in same space, ch 5, 2 dc with ch 3 between in same space (corner), * ch 5, skip 1
loop, sc in next loop, ch 5, sc in next loop, ch 5, skip 1 loop, 2 dc with ch 3 between in next sc at top of
petal, ch 5, 2 dc with ch 3 between in same space (corner), repeat from * twice, ch 5, skip 1 loop, sc in
next loop, ch 5, sc in next loop, ch 2, sc in 3rd st of ch 6, this brings thread in position for next row.
Row 6: ** Ch 5, skip 1 loop, 2 cluster sts with ch 5 between in corner loop (cluster st: 3 dc in same
space keeping last loop of each dc on hook, thread over and pull through all loops at one time), ch 7, 2
cluster sts with ch 5 between in same space, ch 5, skip 1 lop, sc in next loop, * ch 5, sc in next loop,
repeat from * once, repeat from ** all around joining last ch 5 in dc, break thread.
