Materials: Worsted Weight Yarn Red (A) 1 oz, White (B) ½ oz, Green ©) 3/4 oz
Crochet Hook Size H or 5.00 mm
Note: Entire Hot Pad is worked holding two strands of yarn together.
Finished Size Approximately 9 ½ " in diameter
With colour A, ch 8; being careful not to twist ch, join with slip st to form a ring.
Rnd 1: (right side): Ch 3 (counts as first dc, now and throughout), dc in same st, 2 dc in each ch
around; join with slip st to first dc: 16 dc.
Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in same st, 2 dc in each dc around; join with slip st to first dc: 32 dc.
Rnd 3: Ch 3, 2 dc in next dc, (dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc) around; join with slip st to first dc: 48 dc.
Rnd 4: Ch 3, dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, (dc in next 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc) around; join iwth slip st to
first dc, finish off: 64 dc.
Rnd 5: With right side facing, join colour B with sc in same st as joining; sc in next 2 dc, 2 sc in next
dc, (sc in next 3 dc, 2 sc in next dc) around; join with slip st to first sc, finish off: 80 sc.
Rnd 6: With right side facing, join colour C with slip st in same st as joining; ch 3, dc in same st and in
next 4 sc, (2 dc in next sc, dc in next 4 sc) around; join with slip st to first dc, finish off.
