Materials: Crochet Cotton Size 10
(MC) White 145 yds
(A) Green 60 yds
(B) Red 30 yds
Crochet Hook Size 5 or 1.90 mm
Finished Size: Approximately 8 1/2" diameter
Band:
Rnd 1: (right side): With MC, (ch 3, dc in third ch from hook) 120 times; being careful not to twist chs,
join with slip st to first ch to form a ring.
Rnd2: Slip st in first ch-2 sp, ch 1, sc in same sp, (ch 3, sc in next ch-2 sp) around, ch 1, dc in first sc
to form last sp: 120 sps.
Rnd 3 and 4: Ch 1, sc in same sp, (ch 3, sc in next ch-3 sp) around, ch 1, dc in first sc to form last sp.
Rnd 5: Ch 1, sc in same sp, ch 3, (sc in next ch-3 sp, ch 3) around; join with slip st to first sc, finish off.
Picot: Ch3, (dc, ch 2, slip st) in third ch from hook, (ch 2, dc, ch 2, slip st) twice in same ch.
Rnd 6: With right side facing, join Color A with sc in last ch-3 sp made; work picot, sc in same ch-3 sp,
* (ch 3, sc in next ch-3 sp) 3 times, work picot, sc in same ch-3 sp; repeat from * around to last 2 ch-3
sps, ch 3, (sc in next ch-3 sp, ch 3) twice; join with slip st to first sc, finish off: 40 picots.
Rnd 7: With right side facing, join MC with sc in last ch-3 sp made (to right of first picot); working
behind picots, (ch 3, sc in next ch-3 sp) around, ch 1, dc in first sc to form last sp: 120 sps.
Rnd 8: Ch 1, sc in same sp, ch 3, (sc in next ch-3 sp, ch 3) around; join with slip st to first sc, finish off.
Rnd 9: With Color B, repeat Rnd 6.
Rnd 10 and 11: Repeat Rnds 7 and 8.
Rnd 12 and 13: Repeat Rnds 6 and 7.
Rnd 14: Repeat Rnd 3.
Rnd 15: Ch 1, sc in same sp, work picot, sc in same ch-3 sp, *(ch 3, sc in next ch -3 sp) 3 times, work
picot, sc in same ch-3 sp; repeat from * around to last 2 ch-3 sps, ch 3, (sc in next ch-3 sp, ch 3)
twice; join with slip st to first sc, finish off: 40 picots.
Finishing: Sew Rnd 4 of Band to ring. Spray back of wreath with starch if desired. Attach ribbon bow.
